February 2009 - The Moon, and Venus and Saturn! Oh my!!! The Moon is "waxing" on its way to becoming New on the 24th. Venus is in the West...Saturn is in the East.

Roper Mountain Science Center is owned by the School District of Greenville County. RMSC exists because of a unique partnership of public ownership, corporate sponsorship, private support, and volunteers. The primary mission of the center is to educate and inspire learners of all ages to explore and investigate the world of science and technology.The primary program participants are that county's school children. Programs in all areas of science correlate to the science curriculum of the district, and provide reinforcement for concepts studied in the classroom.
